After a decade of working in healthcare, Kristin has found her way back to her roots and is now moving into her eighth season with Fifth Gen. Not only does she have a 3 acre market garden, but she is also learning the family business of grain farming, and has teamed up with her dad to grow garlic. Her heart is happiest while in the field, and is committed to cultivating connections through the food she grows.

The Graves family has called this land home for over a century now. Spanning over five generations, the farm has seen many types of agriculture, such as grain, cattle, gardens, bees, fish (trout), and more! Most recently, our efforts have been focused on conservation efforts to maintain wetlands. By working with nature, we have taken old excavation sites and transformed them into well established ponds that many animals now call home. We are more than just stewards of the land, we are a part of it.
